I know that my pickup is a 2wd sr5 2009, The Prerunner part, and the xrunner, or regular I'm totally confused. It looks exactly like this stock with the 15 inch wheels and rim: shttp://i.oodleimg.com/item/2973910414u_3x424x360f?1335452211 I got some 265/75/r16 and its rubbing. Some say that a pre-runner should not rub with that tire size. I thought it was a pre runner but now I'm insure. Whats its towing capacity? how much can I load in the bed? would I damage it if I were to take it off road? I lifted it:(2.75inch front lift and 1.75 back)

If the truck came with 15" wheels, it's not a Prerunner. The truck you have pictured is a base model, 2wd Tacoma. Prerunners are 2wd Tacomas with the same suspension, tires and fender flares as the 4wd models. There should be a sticker on the driver's side door jamb with all the load capacity info.

Does it have a better fuel economy than the pre runners? and since theres a different suspension, would I damage it off road? with a 2.7L 4cyl?

A Prerunner is not one particular Tacoma, it's a model type. A Prerunner can have the 4 cylinder engine or the V6, it can be a base, SR5, TRD Off Road or TRD Sport. It's any 6 lug 2wd Tacoma.

Generally speaking, if you were compare your 2wd base model to a Prerunner with the same engine and cab configuration, yours might be slightly better on fuel due to it being built with lighter components, lower to the ground, skinnier tires/wheels, etc.

As far as off road damage, you can damage anything off road if you don't know what you're doing or aren't careful so I'm not sure how to answer that. You can lift your base model, put better tires and suspension on it and make it fairly capable off the beaten path but anytime you off road you run the risk of damaging your vehicle in my opinion. Driver experience and the type of trails you ride on will obviously greatly influence what and how much potential for damage there is. It is still a truck though, it's not going to just fold up on you just because you take it off the pavement.
