Best 2 inch suspension lift

I am wondering what is the best and moderately cheap suspension lift for a 2007 taco is?

 

the cheapest would be a front strut spacer from eBay, and then rear aals from fat bobs garage, or eBay also. everyone will tell you to never use rear block spacers, because they will sag your Leafs in time. then if you want even more of a lift plus that little lift, buy yer self a set of 33x10.5 bfg. those could be done buy taking the black box behind your wheel well liner off. that's about it for 5 luggers, or like me spend 3 years collecting parts for a sas.

 

The cheapest is coil spacers but they are not recommended.

i'm just curious as to how you know he has a 5 lug? and why you'd suggest front spacers but then say everyone would hate blocks in the rear? lol

If you dont have a 5 lug, 5100s all around would be cheapest recommended lift

 

well on his vehicle thing it says access cab, 2.7. so therefore it is most likely a 5 lug, mine is the same way access cab, 2.7. Toyota didn't give the option of 2.7 4x4 or pre runner on the access cab until 2010 or so, correct me if I'm wrong. well 5 luggers all we have is the front spacers or he could go all out and get long travels. blocks are bad, example when wanting to snap a twig, it is much easier to snap it when placing something in the middle or on your leg, but try to break it just by holding it at each end, much harder and more force. just my opinion.

 

Ahh, learn something new everyday.. I have a 2012 so I thought they made AC 2.7 4x4s before as well lol.. guess thats what I get for assuming

 

lol yep that's what happens on Tacoma world, I only knew that is because I keep wishing I could trade in my Tacoma for a brand new one so once in a blue moon I go on Toyota.com and build a Tacoma just to see their options and packages. but I cut out so much body and welded almost 80 feet of steel on. I'm still learning after 3 years on here.

 

It's 6 lug. And from what I was reading, 5100's all around seems to be the recommendation. Could I get any more suggestions on mods? At 16 I am very mechanically inclined. Sky is the limit skill wise

 

5100s all around are good. However what are your plans for your truck?

 

Trail capable. Need the ground clearance to be applicable for checking traps year round. Nothing too abusive.

 

5100s and sliders should do you good

 

Is it worth installing an email locker or to just buy a sa with the locker already installed?

 

for what you want you dont need a locker

 

Or you can go OME with 884s.

Eibachs and 5100s set at zero......acess cabs see closer to 2" than double cabs, and u wont have pre loaded coils

 

I would agree with the 5100s and aal as the best bang for your buck option and Toyota has made 2.7 4x4s from the start mines an 05 4x4 6 lug 2.7

well I guess in my area they just didn't have that, because I didn't have the option in 2005. still cheapest would be that way, but if cheapest with good ride still, yeah bilstein. still 200 just for the front. but at 20, 300 for a lift ain't cheap, that's why I got my lift for under 100, installed myself with a lot of cussing for first time attempt at any suspension work.
