Thanks. I was nervous about drilling a big ass hole in my bed but after practicing on some sheet metal, got comfortable with it. I pushed the pilot hole a little off to the passenger side but isn't really noticeable from the top. Have to trim the baseplate to get it to sit flat then I can drill and install the mounting bolts. The nice thing is the hole sits in one of the little valleys and if I have to haul something just have to take out the spare.

Later today, I'm finishing it off then I think I'm putting my aFe intake back on.

 

Would anyone be willing to help me paint my front bumper? I am in need of assistance

 

If you need a space, can do it at my place. I've got to get this spare mount finished and the intake installed but can lend a hand as you need it. I won't be back until after 3pm.

 

Hey Silas, there's enough space between where I drilled the spindle hole and the tailgate to fit 35s. Just sayin'.

lol yup. only about $160 for a pair... even cheaper if you find em at the junkyard.

 

yeah get the junkyard oem ones, my POS vatozone one I replaced a year ago is already leaking. Lifetime warranty FTW though!
