    These trucks are awesome in the snow regardless of the tires. but when your tires are crappy, you can have fun in 4wd. Otherwise with good tires they are almost boring.

    First winter for me in the automatic. And we are expecting 6-10" of snow right now. By 6 when I head home, hopefully the roads are a bit better.

    not necessarily....it can work against you depending on the depth of snow and traction. either your rear end will keep trying to pass your front end or your rear will want to steer/push you in a different direction than you want to be heading depending on traction between the front and rear tires. also, in really deep stuff, you could end up digging yourself into a snow pit

    you live in the desert you know nothing aboot snow.
