Haha yup. A win win for all of us.

Cause it will rust if it's always in the rain lol. And sure it's a locking pin but if someone wants it bad enough they will take it. I would rather have it in my truck with me so no one knows I have it. It's take 2 seconds to put it in and out.

 

That's pretty much what happened to my neighbor, except he was in a garage full of shit.

 

I like having something in the hitch. Looks pretty bad ass too. I'll take it out every once and awhile to clean it.

 

Lol dude, the locking pins are powder coated... Prob won't rust for the time I have it. If someone wants to bring a plasma cutter and cut it off my truck I guess i'll just give it to them at that point for all their effort. Honestly, it was 30 bucks. I'm not gonna lose sleep if someone steals it.

 

Has anyone drilled their frames for the sliders yet? I'm going to try and do it this week or coming weekend.

 

Yes and my advice is to pay someone to do it. It's a fuck of a job.

Hmmm. I would just hate to fuck up on a hole and next thing you know you fucked yourself and integrity of your frame...

Dude drilling is not even the right word. It fucking sucks. I used good drill bits too.

 

Watch out for the brake lines once you break through. It was suck to drill those. I would imagine you would lose your affinity for drilling if you hit those.

 

I might give it a shot later today. Ill let you know how it goes with step bits. I bought two just incase haha

 

What type did you get? And how long did it take?

I can only imagine that would ruin an otherwise great day of drilling... I'll try not to hit any break lines!

I just wish I could use my garage..not till I get the fkn pool table out of there. Installing my mudflaps I could only work on one axle at a time and couldn't shut the garage door..FML
