I'll just gear it to the moon. 6.00's should do it right? Haha. They measure out to just under 30", light as hell, and I believe they are only 2" cups. I agree on needing more power to get the best out of them, but I might be able to get around on for now. I won't run them till I do the 9" swap and run my 488's. Just a good deal I couldn't pass up.

If you bog down too bad just hit every other with a belt sander and call it a day

So, I was running my 33-1050's at glamis, 10lbs of air. They hooked OK . Since these can be inflated more to achieve a slightly smaller foot print, think I'll be able to get decent grip without trimming paddles?

They will grip excellent, maybe too excellent. Where you might struggle is when shifting from 1st to 2nd and so on. Too many cups might bog you down big time, especially on an incline. You might be ok, never know til you run em. That's a lot of resistance to turn though so don't be surprised if its a bit too much and need to alter.

Oh, Mohawks for the front would be sick:D

You had to go and out do my paddles just because you pulled me out. Might be surprised, with not weight in the back and aired up high they may not be to hard to turn. if they are then run em up the pavement for awhile. (If your wife lets you drive it with no tags HEHE)

i'm not a fan of those for some reason :notsure:
    eventually i want a 1st gen tundra or a f-250 for a truck.
for a get to school/work car i think i'll make a buggy street legal. if i wreck it i'm in a 4 point harness and it's a tube frame so i can just fix it myself.

I made it up in a '73 F-250 I put a bunch of work into back in the day. Did it in 2wd like it was nothin. Ain't no replacement for displacement.

I took the easy to the hill though

I wonder what all the old good hills look like now after being closed. The Ceiling was insane, it would literally fill in your tracks like you weren't there because it was so steep. You could hit the base of the hill wide open 4th and downshift all the way up, on a built quad.
I think it was about 2 valleys north of Patton, east of the tubes

I have to get a running start from the flats to make it....half way up. Gearing and no rear suspension kills me. The woops eat up what little speed I have.

    Soon...

I need to find and upload my pappys slides from the 60s. The "buggies" were interesting. V8 coupe chassis, single roll bar (at best) huge lift shackles and dually rear wheels. Tons of them just zooming around.
