Line-X bedliner, bedlined toolbox, Satoshi Grille, bedlined stock old school wheels, Pioneer DEH-X9500BHS head unit, Deck plate mod, ISR mod, K&N Drop-in, Thrush muffler dumped @ rear axle, Grey wire mod, +5mph fender stripes
So I'm a couple days late, but had a Line-X bedliner sprayed in, bedlined a new aluminum toolbox, bedlined the grille, bled the clutch fluid system, fixed broken headlight housing, painted my new 15" wheels, and went mudding like a boss. All in 1 weekend! pics to follow....

Nothing exciting for me. Had timing belt, water pump, and lower radiator hose replaced; and picked up parts and coolant to replace oil cooler seals when I have some free time. It didn't feel good to spend $750 on stuff I can't see or that made the truck drive better, but I know it needed to be done.

So im probably going to get some flack for this one but last weekend i put in some new Camburg UCA's and here are some pictures of how i pressed out the ball joints and pressed in the uniball slugs, enjoy my jimmie rigging skillz!

    Pressing the balljoints out:
so what we have here is a 7 ton 3 arm puller but i only used 2, the metal suares are spacers that i had on my u-haul hitch to bolt it to the frame. I ziptied them arounf the balljoint so they would slip and slid and most importantly so i did have to have my hands near this death trap! ontop of those square spacers are 2 round spacers from my stock UCA's topped off with a 19mm bolt so the puller could seat inside it and not slide around either......
    proof that it worked!

Now here came the tricky part, pressing the uniball slugs in:
so for this contraption i used a 2.5" cast plumbing coupler, 2 UCA washers that fit perfectly onto the coupler and 2 washers from my stock shackles and yes the bolt that i used was my stock shackle assembly...hey i had to improvise, dont hate!

and some more proof of my success:

that was for the first spindle, the drivers side. when i got the the passenger side i could NOT get the stock UCA to unseize from the balljoin after hammering the shit out of it and pickle forking the shit out of it. Then came the use of heat. Since i couldnt drive down to the depot to get a torch i had to use my back packing stove. to do this safely....i jacked up from under the LCA to compress the suspension a bit. this was done becasue if it was left at full droop and heated the UCA and ball joint would unseize after some heating and possible kncok the stove out of my hand...not good. so like i said i jack the suspension up heated it for a bit then drop the jack and boom unseized and seperated. as for the rest it happened exactly like above but easier because i used heat from then on.

So i ended up not dieing, breaking my hand, blowing myself up or killing myself and i saved myself a size-able chunk of money by not paying some shitty shop to do it so all in all it was a win.

I just welded the little flange that the o2 sensor screws into, to the exhaust. Then I cut the remaining stud off and welded up both holes for a complete seal. Now when I buy a new o2 sensor I just replace the sensor not the entire flange and gasket or atleast I think it will be that easy lol.

Just got in an order of LED's

    Reverse Bulb comparison:

    Map and Dome Lights:

Main reason I made the order was to replace a burnt out climate control bulb. I got blue bulbs to match the headunit. Didn't work at quite as well as I would of hoped, but still cool...

And while trying to find those climate control bulb sizes, I relazied I was suppose to have a glove box light, so picked up an LED one:

I do have one question though, I remember seeing someone talk about this a while back. The dome and map lights only come on when the key is on, I remember reading something about adding some resistors, anyone know what ohm rating and how many?

    Thanks
