    i have an 08 trd truck...im looking to put a 3 inch lift on it, rims and tires and thats it...just curiouse if anyone has done the same?

    To actually answer your question, yes probably over half the guys on here have just that set up. If you view the build thread section there is a ton of good info on everyones different setups.

    Welcome to TW, many people have that sort of lift but there are many different brands and types of lifts. It's not an easy question to answer right off the bat. First you need to say exactly what you plan to do with the truck, haul loads, daily driver with little or no off-road, lots of off road, mall crawler. Next describe your budget, lifts in that range can vary widely, can you do your own work on it, that would save a lot of cash. Having someone do all this for you can start around a couple grand to well over 5k.

    Here is mine. 2 inch lift with 5100's up front. Blackrock 909 rims and goodyear wrangler 265/70/17 tires.
