Light racing are good but if you can find a deal on used ones or you have the budget get total chaos

this! i was fine with my alignment but noticed going over speed bumps my stock UCAs were contacting the coil. changed to the light racing aftermarket UCAs and got a better alignment and no more hitting the coil.
i got my OME kit from Toyteclifts.com which gives you the option for a new leaf pack OR just an add a leaf. both those /\ INCLUDE the Dakar leaf pack in their packages.

edit: toytec is actually more expensive IF you want the Dakar leaf pack

I have read the expeditions are better than the dakars. No experience with either though. The dakars seem to be very popular on here.

I was planning on doing dakars in the distant future after my TSB leafs and AAL wear out a bit more, but that probably wont be for a while. I dont use my truck for heavy hauling very often and i usually only get a chance to hit the trails maybe once a year  but dakars would be my choice when the time comes. I think the expeditions would be too much for what I do.

You know about the Group Buy going on right now for the All Pros right/? Save on shipping, get them now. Then if your not happy with them, sell them for the same price you got them for... Or get the standard version of it for a 2.5" lift

Saw a SWB DCSB with what looked like a 3'' and 33's with black wheels. Going west on Braddock before FFX County Parkway around 8:45 this morning. Anyone?

The All-Pro Expos are some nice leafs but I have read that unless you have a cap or off-road bumper they can ride kind of rough as they are designed to give a 3-inch lift AFTER adding 400-500 lbs in accessories.

WESLEY, I ordered my entire kit from Wheelers. I called them to verify everything I needed and they even gave me a discount for being a TW member. I took advantage of their service to pre-assemble the coils because I did not have access to a spring compressor.

Yup, just ordered my kit from Wheelers as well, along with a set of the LR UCAs from them. The whole kit should be here next week!! Now for decisions on wheels and tires. I think I may look at the bronze TRD wheels....if I can find a good price. What size tires are on your truck?.... If you don't mind me asking. R, Wes

Did you pick up a set of extended brake lines with all that? You'll want them for the back at the very least.

    I've got 255/85/R16 BFG Mud-Terrain KM2s

I drooped my suspension, figured out that with my current set up I didn't need extended lines. I just bent the bracket a tiny bit at the axel end. At full droop -my- rear brake lines are not yet taut. I may have to change it once I get some new rear springs.
