looking for someone who can rebuild a '96 v6 motor for me. or a used one and someone to install. if you guys know a good shop or someone that needs some side cash let me know. also on that note would it be better just to get a crate motor? either way i need someone to install it and will stand by their work. i bought my 16 yr old a fixer upper. the truck was suppose to be rebuilt with a 106,000 miles on it but its got so many leaks i want to have it redone.

Send a PM to Bill (BamaToy1997), he's over in Marion, Al.

He does all of my mechanic work, great work, great prices and he stands behind all of his work.

Well, after repeated attempts to contact Stubbs welding to buy a set of sliders, no calls or emails have been returned. I give up on dealing with out of state fab shops. They either suck, or love their stuff so much that the price reflects it.

There are a couple fab shops within about 50 miles from here, going to give them a call tomorrow.

Have you looked for a used one from a junk yard? Some of them will have a warranty on their motors and it might be cheaper than having it rebuilt. Maybe you can keep that one and y'all get it built together.

You try email or phone? I have his email as:
    richard@stubbswelding.com
but his site lists a new one at gmail. Maybe try both? Dunno. He was super responsive to me and my friend in dallas that bought a set as well. Sucks if he's gone down the tubes from a customer service standpoint. Product rocks.

Stubbs just called me a little while ago and apologised for not answering sooner. He said they are swamped this time of year. He then offered me a discount for the trouble if I decide to go with them. I'm liking them now.

He talked to me for like 20 or 30 minutes about sliders when I was ordering mine, and answered every question I had. The dude's customer service is awesome.
