They charge more because if the smog guy does it right it takes forever. Most smog guys sniff and fuck it.

Haha, yeah I remember you having an issue with your RV a while back, what a bunch of crap, I failed at idle which is about 1% of the time and its only at 800RPMS, I dont think the idle test should be able to cause a GP, I can understand if it fails when your on the gas and actually driving it, but idle, C'mon..

So whats the "Right" way to smog an RV that needs a "No Load" test? Just a sniffer, visual, and Evap, right? I dont see it being more difficult that a car that needs a dyno test and that costs even less. In my case I have no Catalytic converters, just an old Quadrajet, and air injection on a Chevy 454 / TH400. Pretty simple setup compared to just about anything else on the road..not much going on there.

Such a bummer, I go out to the Desert about 2x per month for 4 days at a time for my vacation and practice for racing, and once it a while when I decide to not be lazy and actually go and race in a D38 Event, next one is the King of he Desert, I think it should be a fun format.

So no more racing until I get the RV smogged since thats kinda my pits, and sleeping arrangements. But next time I go to havasu (maybe even the next weekend after this one) I am going to street legal my racebike and get the RV registered. Gonna be funny racing with a plate and kickstand! People are like WTF? If I rail the inside during a race like on my old racebike that was also plated, I love the reactions, especially when they pick up the pace thinking thaT me passing them was just a fluke! Come n' get it! hAHA.

Getting off track here, but me and some buddies were thinking I should borrow some girls gear (like my wifes) and put it on with some fake ponytails for the next race, since I weigh 120# and am only 5'6" I am a pretty small fella, but I can ride OK, so I think that would be funny as hell. I would need to put my GoPro on facing backwards so I can review the video after I get back, lol Would be awesome to see the look/reactions after getting passed by a "girl" doing a wheelie through the whoops!

No not yet, looking for some deals right now, no reason to buy new, plus the coilovers aren't very high on the list yet. Still have a lot of little things to take care of first.

Sweet, lets trade next week. There is a big new defense contract coming in that needs planning/routing/programming and all material and controlled hardware ordered. All of the ITAR (international trade and arms regulations) paperwork needs to be completed. We have an AS9100 audit coming up in a week or two, someone needs to take the lead on that. Oh, almost forgot, we are behind on a job that is delaying a launch for a classified defense satellite, gotta go explain that to a panel of individuals who are going to be thrilled to hear that shit. I'm sure I'm missing something, just another week in paradise.
    Sure lets trade :D
