I only posted it once and part of the deal is quite relevant. 3000 or so of that was from Toyota and nothing to do with my sister. Yeah, I am proud of the deal i got. Is all of it relevant, no but some of it is. Not to mention the reader would know this if he navigated through the entire post. Since they did not, I am merely sharing my experience with relevant knowledge of how I achieved this deal. But whatever ill keep to myself. Don't hate appreciate

Bought a 2012 leftover DCSB TRD auto 4x4 today. Not sure if it has entune or not but xm, touchscreen stuff, Handed down my base model so its a nice step up for me. They took a whopping $900 of from $35,000 to $34,100. No destination charge BS either

2013's on the lot were sticker, no less. Popular truck here though.

I did navigate through the thread and did see your other posts. Chalked your experience up as statistical noise and quickly excluded it from my comparison set. Congrats on your deal...

Truck looks nice. But you need to ask if they factory warranty will apply to all the added parts that they put on (lift, rims, etc etc) If they say yes it does you must get it in writing.
Toyota has a weird thing about that stuff. The dealer will install this stuff but will not warranty it. They will refer you to the manufacture if there is a problem. Get it in writing.

The dealer added a bunch of stuff to that truck and they are charging about $6,500 for it. You might want to price out the items added and see if it make sense for you.

I also browsed their other trucks and everything seems to be on the high side - very high compared here to Texas. I don't know how close you are to other dealerships, but shopping around could save you a few thousand dollars. Best deals usually come from areas where there is competition and you can get the dealers bidding against each other. Then again, these trucks are sometimes hard to find, with the equipment and color that you want. I had to wait three weeks for one with the color and equipment that I wanted.

    Good luck-

I think this thread is much more helpful, especially for those who are purchasing a new truck, when people post the MSRP from the window sticker along with the purchase price...

First of all, this thread was so helpful in purchasing my new truck, we were able to use the info in here to negotiate with good knowledge, thanks everybody !!

    TRD/OR
    Entune/Nav
    V6 Tow
    All Weather Mats

MSRP 34785 (without 200 buck doc fees added)
    Paid 31873

They had a 4 day "presidents day sale" where they matched 1000 buck downpayment, so that was nice. Originally got a Penfed load for 1.49%, but to get the extra 1000 bucks off you had to do Toyota Financing, was able to get 1.75% rate. I put a large down payment down anyway so my little finance charge will be nothing for the balance i owe, was worth the extra 1,000 off going with toyota finance.

I ended up purchasing my extended warranty from Theresa at Acton Toyota in MA. Local toyota dealer would not come down in price - i found her name on this website as well (thanks again tacoma world) - i paid 1515 for a 8yr/125,00 warranty, pretty good i think.

I am gonna try to be part of the group buy in here for the wet okoles if that happens, that would be nice. And i am gonna add nerf bar steps, light bar, and wife already ordered weathertech floor mats, front deflectors, and window deflectors. Already installed autostart. Wife also put a skid plate on, debadged it but she left TRD sticker on, looks good, wife also made them put white lettering side of tires on inside.

QUESTION - Is this true (what i have read on other threads) that my ENTUNE does not display the vehicle information so i can monitor gas mileage, tire pressures, etc ? Did i just buy a really expensive radio/nav ? I really thought it would display vehicle information, in the tacoma color brochure it states "vehicle information" in the entune section. Oh boy, this would be disappointing, i thought it did this.

    Thanks.

I mentioned this to my dealership and they said that someone who cannot verify the odometer reading cannot legally sell you a warranty, thus making buying a warranty from someone out of state impractical. I didn't want to chance paying $1500 for a warranty that wouldn't be 100% legally binding, so I just grabbed their warranty. Same price, same years, but 75k miles instead of 125k. They extended my loan by 3 months when they added it on (kept the same interest rate) and it actually dropped my monthly payment by about $10. I could live with that.

No, no, no... you can do other useless things like make table reservations, buy movie tickets, check the weather, and check traffic! All of this, however, requires the system to be tethered to a smart phone... a smart phone that can already do all of the above mentioned (even while moving). I only got it for the Nav and the JBL sound system. The rest is kind of neat, but I will never use it. With that being said, if I had to do it all over again I would still buy it with the JBL/Entune/Nav.
I agree that it's a bit funny that my wife's 2007 4Runner can keep track of maintenance performed, current MPG's, average MPG's, etc... but my 2013 Tacoma with a more capable unit can't do that. Add that to the list of shit that my wife's 6 year old vehicle has that my 1 month old vehicle doesn't (climate control, auto up/down window, 8 way power adjustable seats, etc...)

After almost a year I finally made the purchase!!! PCS orders to Hawaii and had to take advantage of the lower tax.

    OTD price $32,000 @ 2.9% $508 monthly
    MSRP $31,970

2013 4x4 LB TRD Sport Auto
This is not a steal price but I don't think it's bad for Hawaii

im going to be getting a 2013 access cab, v6, auto, 4x4, sr5 package for 29,900. they are having to ship it from mississippi dealer and i live in oklahoma cause there is literally only 4 total in the gulf states region. i called 3 different dealers between oklahoma and texas and this was the best price i could get.
