I think he means parking uphill so stray shopping carts won't roll into him, as they will roll downhill.

Same with parking upwind. Wind can also blow carts across parking lots, so I park uphill and upwind if I can.

If I have to park next to somebody, I try to find a spot where I can park next to a passenger door. Less chance of somebody using the passenger door. Although on the other hand, the passenger might be kids and not have any control or care over their actions.

LOL...first day I had my avid on in the city (cause assholes were beating up my stock bumpers) one of my own workers backed up into me in a work truck.

Plate bumpers get more respect when it comes to room :D

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
If I'm not mistaken (and I could be) if your wheels are behind the line you are fine. So, the OP is legally parked IMO. Please, correct me if I'm wrong.

I can understand leaving a message saying "hey buddy you drive a truck not a Ferrari stop taking up two spots" but I can't justify hitting someone's vehicle cause they parked a bit over the line.

I am not sure his bumper is touching yours.

Only way to verify is to walk on his hood to take a look to see for sure, much better with a over head view. :D

+1 for the hitch that's what I do. I've seen people hit them, put a hole in their bumper, and rip their bumper off backing up or when the truck drives away. Rather funny to see. Luckily, I've only had others bump my hitch.

In Florida at least, the officer would do an informational report. Parking lots are on private property, so if they don't have a traffic agreement, there's no "accident".

Last, and only time, I came out and found someone car pressed up against my bumper (I don't have Trail Armor) I hooked up a chain to their tow hitch and dragged the car into the middle of the road sideways, left it there, then took off. The car got no damage and was towed by the city. Hope that dick enjoyed the towing fee's.

If you think you're going to have a vehicle dent free with nice paint in California, you're going to have a bad time. We don't have rust, we have assholes.

The city actually made some money from that driver. That's cool.

I dont have the brush gaurd like you got but sure got the hitch. I sure make note of the other unrespectful jerk who parked too close to me.. will have a nasty surprise down the road. Most of the time I park far away from the lazy ass. but comes to no choice,, then I make aware who park near me.
if ever hit mine it will get a gift of the same.

People that are inconsiderate parkers irk me. So I park next to them and make them squeeze into their cars. I usually take a quick pic of their license plate for my court case(haven't needed to go there yet.) It's not that hard people. Get your head out of your ass and think about someone other than yourself for a change.
