So I I've ordered a blue sea fuse block. Some led lights to mount on cowl. Figured Id try em out and write a review just some no names off of Amazon. Got that led bar coming sometime in march. Gonna have to get with some one and make some harnesses and wire everything up. Wanna clean up my fog light install as well.

I just ordered a Blue Sea block and breaker for each of my trucks. I am not really looking forward to the installs, I hate wiring

AJ, my LEDs came in this week. I'm not going to run a separate block but plan to start the interior stuff today and depending on the weather finish this weekend.

Yeah I'm not looking forward to it at all. Shit just overwhelms me. I have no issue tearibg mechanical stuff apart. But wires I just don't like. What breaker did you go with? I still need to get one.

I ordered the 12 blade block with 150 amp breaker for the taco, and 6 blade block with 100 amp breaker for the runner.

It's worth it in the end, and it looks good. I don't get why people don't like it, I like wires.

I got the 6 blade block for the taco. Any reason the 100amp shouldn't get the job done?

So the light from Amazon came into day. Initial thoughts are that they are decently made. All aluminum body. Glass lens. And heavy, feel pretty stout

So im using a relentless hood mount left over from my first cb install well I wanted to test for to make sure the light would work. My only worry was that I wasn't gonna be able to open the hood. Well it opens with less than a 1/4inch on the drivers side. But I'm worried that the windshield wiper will get in the way on the pass.

Anyone have any other windshield mounting ideas?

I looked at those briefly. Kinda forgot about em. I suppose that's probably the only option other than something personally fabbed. My only concern with those is, I feel like they might be a little flimsy. I have there cb mount and it's not completely solid.

I was thinking you could maybe use a solid sleeve spacer between the light bracket and the mount, to lift it up just enough to clear the wiper. :notsure:

That could certainly work. It would also get the light up and off the hood, keep it from throwing so much light on the hood. Just would have to get some longer hardware which wouldn't be an issue at all. Was just trying to save some coin and just buy one more relentless mount.
Yeah deff let me know. I feel like with a set of duallys or something it would probably be alright. But maybe in wrong and they are stout.
