As for the topic, I have some GoPro footage to go through to post eventually :D

    As for the off-topic topic...
I knew this would turn into a shit storm... sigh. Honestly, the biggest thing that needs to happen is, it needs to be cleaned up as soon as El Oso Rd is passable again. I don't care if FBGW does it, or TW does it, or hell if someone goes with me and I'll do it. We saw the ranger/service worker (whatever he was) and I told him we may have a lead on who did it, but not certain. Either way we'd follow up and that our group doesn't stand for it. So, I'd like to follow that up by getting it taken care of and cleaned up. Honestly it was/is the only graffiti on the trail I saw both days (minus some other illegible lettering on the other side of that same rock). Doesn't matter who did it at this point, just that it gets taken care off (as is per true Tread Lightly guidelines).

Also as for Eric's pic, I've given him crap about that before, but technically he is within the forest service guide lines on an active trail to be able to go off that distance from trail. Granted, it's meant more for situations where it's needed (passing, broken vehicle, ect) but it's not a true "violation" to speak... anyways that's all I have on that.

The best thing would be to go up and clean the rock. Not with a solvent, but with a wire brush. Thats the best way. People are going to see this, and petition to get the trail closed. Its happened in the past, and it happens quickly. If a tree hugger, Govt. Agency, or Game & Fish see's this, the off road comunity is fucked.

Honestly, this enrages me. I would rather see the trail closed then give dumb asses the opportunity to fuck up Arizona's landscape. I'm going to head up Wednesday if conditions are ok and try to take that despicable shit off if anyone wants to tag along. I will not partake in any event FBGW members are associated with from here on out.

he wasnt banned over a picture. Other mods were involved, and there was a PM exchange involved.

ya ill plan a trip up there soon, and take care of it if it hasnt been done with already.
Ok so blame FBGW for it? ya seems legit. Your gonna really hurt my feelings when u say "i will not partake in any event FBGW members are associated with". good job, proud of u for that:thumbsup:  have you not read my last few posts? clearly our group didnt do it, so why should hate be spread on us? I HAVE NO CONTROL OVER IT!!!!!!!!! so if someone puts TACOMA WORLD across the rock, i should instantly hate everyone on here and never want to go wheeling with them, or be associated with them what so ever? :notsure: seems legit right?.... "FBGW" didnt do it, and if u wanna try and prove something/make yourself feel better about saying " I will not partake in any event FBGW members are associated with from here on out." then u sir need to grow up. seriously put yourself in my position, and realize that everyone is blaming us for something we didnt do!

Dude it's your groups name. It represents you and your group regardless of who did it. Bottom line is it is going to be your group who gets a bad rep over it. Our forest is the victim here, not you. If I was affiliated with a group who's name is tagged on a trail, I would be looking to remedy the issue immediately, not "pass the buck" on to some anonymous, unlikely perpetrator.

    This ^^

If "TW" was spray painted on a rock, I have no doubts that the members on here would react quickly to remove it. First, to keep and protect the trails. Second, to make sure that people know they arent affiliated with people that do that kinda shit.

I understand it is our group name and someone who doesnt know that we didnt do it could see it as us "vandalizing trails" but everyone knows on here it wasnt us, so why do u still shed the blame on us? it will be taken care of and removed. Now what more do u want from me? nothing i can do about someone tagging a rock, or tagging anything in general!

Not saying that I agree with the whole banning of one person because of somebody else's action even if it is "your group", but If I were you I'd just go and try to remove it just so all of this ends.

    *edit*

I think this is all that's needed in my opinion, you're doing everything that you can to take care of it.

thats what the mods are all discussing, and got every one of us pissed about it. Thats an awfully random 4 letters to just string together if you dont know what they mean..
