Lines are overrated, park in something like this for 5 months of the year and you can make your space as wide or narrow as you want. [IMG]
Of note, you can squeeze more cars in when there are no lines, plus you get bonus points for power-sliding into a spot.

It's funny to watch how people park at work when they can't see the lines.

And when I did a 270* power slide into my parking spot when I was 17 with my 1973 Delta 98, the girl who's Dad was dropping her off at work told me that her Dad said it was hard on my tires!

People around my area are pretty good are parking more or less where the lines were (though that fades as the lines have been going longer and longer)

I notice the biggest change is 'adding' parking spots on the in/out routes, narrowing it in exchange for packing 50m closer to the building.

Here's an idea if it ever happens again. Take the same picture showing his car against your truck. Also take a picture of his license plate. Disappear for a while until the car leaves. If he does not at least leave a note with his insurance info it is a hit and run. In PA if you are caught for hit & run you lose your license, plus fines and any damages.

I don't see it as being inconsiderate. I have a DCSB and have had bumper right on the line and everything past rear wheels were sticking out past the line. OP has DCLB so if its a short spot than he would be sticking way out if he did not get right on the line or have pumper 2 or 3" over it. Now if his front tires are over the line than ya that's inconsiderate!

    he sho did.

If my truck is 20 feet long and the space is only 16 feet long, I'm not going to have the ass end of my truck hangin 4 feet out into the lot, so I pick a spot that i can take a little of the next spot.

Doesn't matter if he parked diagonal across four spots. That doesn't suddenly give someone the right to hit his truck.

    Goodnight TW

Wait You said this: "People that are inconsiderate parkers irk me."

Then you do this: "So I park next to them and make them squeeze into their cars."

Wouldn't that make you inconsiderate also? You = Them

Sounds as if he squeezes into spaces where people have parked over the line.

Wrong. The line is the end of his space. If his truck is too long he needs to locate another parking space.

My truck has the avid bar sticking off the front. It's a double cab and a long bed with a hitch. I stick out of the parking spots by a few feet. That's why in the morning I always take a spot without a car infront of me so I can try to fit better in the space. How is it inconsiderate? If I don't maximize my use of the space it's inconsiderate for me to block the small isle of the parking lot with my truck bed.

I know places where every one of the spaces for miles is too damn short. Sometimes you don't have a choice
