Locking gas for the Tacoma

    The locking cap is more to keep things out of the tank. There's a screen in the filler neck to prevent siphoning. That screen can be broken if someone is desperate enough, but then those types of people just drill a hole in the tank from underneath. Still, I like knowing someone isn't going to dump anything in mine. Had a Toyota locking cap on mine for over 6 years with no codes. FYI, Toyota locking caps used to be made by Stant. No idea if that's still the case.

    Well I looked online and it said the stants were not made for the 3013 tacoma

    i checked out Stant and then went with Murray. i think they have them at O'Reilly's in the PNW. i was $10-12.

    I get a kick out of how many people and how diverse the age range is of those who trip on clowns. Some clowns are creepy some are lame and some are just stupid. Other than homie the clown off that old show In Living Color, none are really that entertaining, scary or funny.



    I have the Stant gas cap and have had no issues but may give the Murray a look to see if it is really better as reported.
