I could see if it was another truck and he/she had to squeeze in as tight as possible to also avoid the ass hanging out too, but it looks like a Honda Fit or something. No reason to pull in that close other than to be a dick.

For the people who are complaining that OP took a couple extra inches of space and is inconsiderate, would you pull into the spot and touch paint just to show your frustration with not getting 100% of your parking spot?

If I worked with OP and saw he took the spot + 4 extra inches I would probably pull into the spot, realize I wouldn't fit, back out and find another spot. Bastard got up before me and won the battle. Touche.

I work in a small law office with handfuls of bro-hoes in F250's and Yukons who cant park worth dick. They take double and triple spots all the time. I get pissed but never enough to cause damage.

I don't recall ever saying that it was the end of the world! I did say I think that it is inconsiderate several times...

Peoples cars were practically underneath my old trucks bumper. One time i went out and some dumb retard had cops there trying to say i hit his car when i parked. I had been in a movie for 2 hours or so and security cameras even showed him hitting my truck. A BMW M6 is no match for a Ram 2500 4x4 lol. I didnt have a scratch on my truck though and he went to jail lol.

    This.
If they are not in their spot side to side, I pull into the one next to them making sure to perfectly center myself(not that hard to do). It's called leading by example.

the first few weeks i had my truck i was worried about everything. slowly those chips, dings scratches and dents dont matter so much. i do get pissed when a rock plunks off the windshield tho

    i park where i fit.
sometimes i have to get out and visually look to see if i have 3-4 inches on each side so i can angle this school bus into a street spot. When you park in Manhattan, you cant be so worried about what happens to a car. Even if you go to a parking garage, they arent very respectful unless you have a Benz or something.

parking lots i usually find a place where its easy to pull in and out regardless of who is around.

they call them bumper guards or bumper bullys up here, but you usually see them on silver camrys and tan minivans. but hey bro, if youre worried about your tacoma staying fresh to death for life, by all means. look em up and get the hook up.

End result: thread shouldn't have been posted, no reason to vent a little chip off your avid light bar to a bunch of people who either A.) are going to back you up, or B.) say you are in the wrong and an inconsiderate person.

And how can we assume this person did it on purpose? What if this person is some has no depth perception and didn't even feel the tap against your light bar? I am assuming you have seen the guy in person before? I don't get all the jumping to conclusions unless i missed something.

I didn't read the whole thread, but that sucks OP. I always park as far as I can away from people, but than I come out, and I'm surrounded by cars! :annoyed: I swear I have a target.

It's always faster for me to park at the end of the lot and walk than trying to find that close spot. Good way to avoid dings. If not, try to park next to the BMW or Lexus

WTF is wrong with people wanting to keep their truck nice? Truck cost me a good bit of money, I want to keep it door ding, and as scratch free as possible.

I push shopping carts out of the way when I go to Walmart. :anonymous: Pisses me off when people leave their carts in the middle of a parking spot! Just put them back in the cart return you good for nothing bums! But yeah, if someone parked up on me like that I'd probably get out the winch and lock up their gears :D

I always park as far away from other people as possible. I have a 2004 tacoma without a single door ding, knock on wood. My wife's 2011 honda already has more door dings than my 2004 taco.
