Didn't realize a 45 second free fall and 1min and 50 second event costs $335. If someone paid I'd do it. Like hell I'm wasting that.

Just checked skydive newport and it is $220 pp, still expensive but less than $335. Where did you see $335

This seems like the kind of activity that I wouldn't necessarily want to bargain shop for

 

Parachutes had a couple holes in them, the plane barely made it off the ground, but it was a bargin!!

 

This is why I'll be the one on the ground taking pictures

 

Hows it goin guys ? Havent been on here much, you know working and chasing two teenagers around. When's the next group ride/wheeling trip? Almost ready. I just aquired a nice stick welder (Miller Thunderbolt XL) I'm totally green. Need to spend some time learning with it. May need it in the future.....lol. Would like to fabricate stuff. In the near future i will be making a beeter/ trail rig out of a 2001 jeep cherokee.

Isn't the first time more expensive because you need an instructor with you?

 

You need an instructor until you get certified, which takes a bunch of jumps, classes and money. If I went, it would be my 3rd jump and I would still need an instructor. The $220 was with an instructor

When I went to my buddies sons wedding I could have jumped if I new enough to set a time prior the wedding. I tried once I got there but the only option was a solo jump and that worried me. I figured the first would be a tandem but they said some choose to go solo. The place was on the NH and Maine line, I also saw a place on the Cape

I know the guys who do it on the cape. They fly outta marstons mills, the cape cod airfield. Nice place!
