Should someone always try to park in the lines? You betcha.

OP has been very clear from the outset that there is no such lined spot in this lot. I'm guessing parking elsewhere isn't an option.

For the 2nd car, if I bumped someone else's car I would back up ever so slightly..and make sure it didn't cause any damage to their car before leaving.

I call BS on the whole thing.

We have yet to see any damage. I think OP is a little confused as to who was wrong, wanted to bitch and as a result had to fabricate countless rebuttals as to the justification why the other person was completely and utterly wrong..

In fact, we are all taking his word against an unnamed and silent assailant who apparently has orchestrated the greatest atrocity this man has ever experienced. Had there been actual damage then the OP would have notified authorities, retained a lawyer and prepared a lengthy statement for congress…

He didn’t do any of that, he only stated that there was no damage to his vehicle only the other guy. We don’t know the status of the other individual, whether elderly, a family nothing about the other vehicle other than smashing into his beloved truck.

I find it extremely ironic that the OP admits to not being considerate of others when he gets there early in the morning to perpetrate a premeditated act of defiance since nobody was in his way to stop him.

Sounds like the youth of today who care only for themselves and wants to blame other for their own ignorance and lack of moral intelligence. And then puts on the pouty face and cries on this board for reaffirmation that what he has done was not the cause of the untold damage, pain and suffering he has had to endure.

OP just wants to admittedly know if other Tacoma owners take pride in their vehicles enough to find alternative avenues to parking while maintaining decency to others or are there some owners out there who are just as much of a TARD MONKEY as he is and pull this crap and cry when something happens.

YOU put yourself in a position that even Lindsay Lohan would avoid and one that Snoop Dog could foresee happening even after a visit to the apothecary…

true! SOME TIMES I ghost ride the cart to the truck if it’s not really busy.
They can fit it’s just really tight. The rear out side wheels are 1 or 2” from the line. a small car could still park next to them just fine! I have done it in moms scion XB. I have seen many dually’s park in 1 spot or 2 spots if it’s the quad cab and long bed.

usually i hate wally world, but It’s the closest place for groceries or anything els they have. I’m about 5 miles from it, other places are 10+ miles a way.

Please point it out where I said I thought it was alright for someone to hit him.

If there isn't a spot big enough for him to park then he does need to park somewhere else. It isn't my fault that your city planners are idiots. I have never seen a spot that was too small for my AC 2012 unless it was due to some ass hat parking over the lines. What are the lines? Just a suggestion?

I never said that YOU said it was ok. just saying that it’s still not right to hit him no matter how he parked. Sounds like all the spots where he works are the same size so how can get park some where els and it not be the exact same?

I agree the planners should make spots big enough for a full size truck at least. no they are not just a suggestion. I have in parking garages, i backed in and hit the concrete wall with my hitch and the some of the front wheels and all the front bumper where hanging out.

Mostly around here the only people that park on or over the lines are ass hats that can’t park, or are really big trucks(like 2500/3500s that are quad cab and have 8’ beds. It’s very hard to get one of those not over the line some and not stick out and block the lane where you drive. I don’t know how many big 2500’s or 3500’s are around you but there is quite a few around here, because there is quite a few small farmers.(and lot of people have horse's or bail/ sell hay and need big trucks.)
