I did the 30K service today, minus the transfer case and front diff. So, AFE filter, cabin filter, oil change, rear diff change and spark plugs. The drivers side plugs were a mother f'er to change

 

Thanks, I didn't know if it was the same because of the atrac/traction control.

 

The Dealer wanted around $500 for doing it.

 

Part of the reason I did it myself. Everything was easy except for the driver side plugs. I skipped the transfer case and front diff because the oil in the rear was like brand new and I am not in 4wd that often. I will probably change it next oil change.

 

I think next weekend will be my lift install weekend

 

I didn't have the dealer do it either. I am still under 30k anyway. I just picked up a K&N filter, i was going to get the AFE, but I already have a K&N clean kit. Which plugs did you go with?

Thanks. Did you check the gap on your old plugs to see if the electrode had worn?

 

Yea, my gapper goes up to .45 and all the old plugs were over that. New ones are gapped at .40

After NJ I'm scared to pressure wash my engine compartment. I know what can happen!

New starter, 2 new alternators (Ira Toyota sucks massive balls), and a new to me transmission.

I don't feel safe cleaning my engine bay lol
