On the topic of dried meat, today in Sams I saw my first "rancid" package of jerky. That shit was growing fungi that looked like brocolli. It was in a worker cart (they were pulling reject items off the shelves)

I've had some venison smoked links drying in kitchen for a week or so. I sliced it and vac sealed as an experiment. It has all curing ingredients and prev frozen.

Wife had to abandon her car in the snow this week. I was glad to see her carrying her get-home bag when I picked her up at the grocery store several hours later. It costs next to nothing to throw a backpack in a trunk with an extra fleece, gloves, socks, a bottle of water and some chemical handwarmers. Very well could save a life.

Nice piece. I had the same concern for the Gerber. I decided to go with the Ka-Bar Kukri. Any other Bark River pieces you could recommend?

Seriously though, cool video. Given the chance though, and if I had the money obviously I would take an H1 over that any day of the week. :D If I ever win the lottery, it'll be one of the first things I buy.

    In the truck, I have:
    Glovebox: Mechanix gloves
Seat covers are Cordura Molle covered on the back with attached pouches, IFAK, random spare stuff.
My get home bag is in the floorboard back seat with enough food and water for 2 days, spare socks, tube tent, comfort items.
More stuff to be added as I think of it.

    Some really good setups here.
