    If you're even a remotely responsible person there is absolutely no reason to be apprehensive about lipo batteries. The pros outweigh the cons BY FAR.

    Don't waste your money on NiCd or NiMH batteries. Just don't do it.

    good battery in the remote, good battery in the truck. turn both on, steering works, but throttle only works for a couple seconds and then fades to nothing over about 5 seconds.
