Well work environment surely dictates what you can or cannot wear. Safety is an issue in many jobs.

Yeah but we have evolved. :) No way someone could do my job, and hobbies barefoot all the time.

Edit: nt saying barefoot is bad. But not for me.

I'm always barefoot when at home... So much more comfortable than shoes.

    That's a different thread.

But I do like wearing flip flops as often as practical when it's warm enough.

:woot: me too! I rarely have shoes on when at home, sometimes at work (unless I need to be out in the public area of the office), in the summertime I'll drive barefoot. Never understood the whole barefoot running fad though....too hard on your feet and I'd be afraid of cuts and whatnot. I never wore shoes as a kid either...out running in the yard or out camping and wading in the river.

    Too many to list now.
Having coming very close to losing both feet to frostbite (currently have no feeling in either foot) it's not an option for me anymore. Still in sandals year round though.

I wear the five fingers... as close to barefoot as I can get. I hate shoes and socks. as soon as I get home, shoes/ socks come off immediately when I wear them. I love the five fingers though. They dont feel like a shoe at all and they give you the sense of walking barefoot.

2 option poll is kinda limited, neither option fits me or i'd guess most people. Had to pick gross.

Nothing gross about barefoot but I'm barefoot a lot, just not every chance I can get, around the house and yard, sure. While in public, not very often but keen's or tiva most of the year.

To each his own; however I'm a big advocate of preventing "WalMart Feet" in this country.

    Urban Dictionary.

    Exhibit "A".

We also weren't "designed" to walk on pavement and concrete, or to live in houses, or to be connected through our phones and computers 24/7.

We have moved beyond the basics that we were "meant" to be.
