Classic reference to the cover of an HK catalog.

I had a Wiley-X catalog for a long time (2006 I think) that was photoshopped to add muzzle blast coming from an MP5. Unfortunately the artist assumed the "muzzle" was the forend with integral flashlight, and 'shopped in flames belching from the light. Good stuff.

I recently inherited my father in-laws gun collection. I was able to identify all except this muzzle-loader. It has no markings on it whatsoever. I was told it is a .50 caliber. Anyway, if anyone has any idea or info they could pass along I would appreciate it!

Just finished most of the build on my plinker the other week. Gotta do some trigger work and it'll be done. Can't wait to start putting rounds through it. .223 is a little expensive to be using on squirrels atm.

Tactical Solutions barrel w/ compensator, Hogue stock, Nikon Pro-staff rimfire scope, and Wiegand rings. Need to order a spring kit for the trigger and do some polishing then see how it shoots. Probably going to get the Volquartsen mag release and a oversized charging knob. The current one is just to small with the scope on it.

Thanks! Trying to keep it clean and uncluttered.

I would imagine it is lighter. I had the stock synthetic stock. Its been long enough since I handled one with a wood stock I can't say for sure. Even if its heavier, coupled with the barrel the weight is shifted back far enough that it isn't noticeable.

Interesting concept, I could see some bad things happening with them (ie if someone is dumb enough to arm one before they are ready for a shot. Aid also be worried about pressures etc...

But still, I now want one

Would this be considered now or gun hunting for dear? (I'm kidding for dear hunting lol)
