    Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
    That is one down side for sure. I tested the whole kit by using a set of shorter cross bars amd then ran a fat strap over it for a few weeks...what I found is that I could still see to the sides in my blind spots but it blocked all those misaligned headlights at night. Here is my test rig...worked quiet well actually.

    Simple, Effective and cheap compared to other options. Also can take it out and there will be nothing in the way to haul shit around.

    like ~$80 total for the Y-Strap and OEM D-Rings
