Do you guys wear belts when squatting, dead lifting and back rows??? Does it help?

I used to, then I decided I don't want my core to be my weakness. Now I don't wear a belt for anything and its been fine so far!

wait wait wait, you mean to tell me your skinny ass is pushing up 180lbs db's? lol. I kid, repping 90's like that for some one your size is pretty impressive.

I only put my belt on when I lift "heavy" anything over 355 on DL and over 315 on squat. For back rows, I have never gone heavy enough to wear mine. My lower back has not given me any problems, so not yet.

I wouldn't say it really makes your core weak. It's just there for support. But then again, I don't wear mine most of the time.

Thanks man! Yeah I guess I typed that without thinking, it certainly isn't bad to wear one. I do a lot of core work outs and haven't had an issue. If I was to squat as much as you do I would probably strap a belt on

I very rarely go real heavy any more. To much stress on my knee that I trashed a few years back in a bike wreck. I usually just stay around 225 for back squats, go ATG, and do higher reps, super set with front squats ATG, then throw in hack's, I still get a decent leg work out. It's also nice for giving my lower back a break/rest. I put a lot of stress on it between DL, MP, and bent over rows.

I would say sub ~15%, if not a little bit lower. Start blasting abs, they will come through real quick.

I don't know a whole lot of ab workouts to be honest. Just crunches and leg raises. Weighted obliques. Any recommendations?

Pull over ab machine, weighted sit ups on decline bench, weighted leg raises, planks, sit ups are what I work into my workout week

I always feel awkward with the pull over ab machine.

The weighted sit ups sound good. I'm going to have to google weighted leg raises. That sounds crazy. Thanks

I just hold a 15lb dumbell with my feet. and do hanging leg raises with it, I go til failure, drop the weight then continue until failure again.

I honestly think you're in the range of 17-20%

Google what different percentages look like. You are pretty close to where I am, although our bodies store fat differently... Yours is a smoother layer whereas mine likes to hang around at my obliques.

I guarantee they will not come through by "blasting abs". You can do 1000 crunches a day, but unless your bodyfat is low enough they will not come through. No offense to Alpha, but he's 15-20% IMO and will prob need to trim to 10% or so to get them to show.
