I understand them....not all of us are full of drama or complete bitches!! some of us just want full honesty and to be taken seriously for what we can bring to the relationship!

I love the women in my family to death, and I can depend on my Mamma for anything, but I still don't understand them on a lot of things. xD Like why clothes and make up are so important, and their lives revolve around hearing the latest news/gossip. And why they are always jealous of someone, and the way my little sister rudely turns down any feller that approaches her- and enjoys doing it. (She's actually said that she enjoys turning people down, I'm not just reckoning on it.) Of course, I'm sure not all girls are like this, because I've met a handful of girls that don't, but most of the ones I know personally are. :D
And for the record, I'm the same way. I don't just go and date someone because they're hot. I gotta really know them first. And when a girl finds herself with me, she best settle in, cos she's gonna be there for a long time- I don't go for the quick flings and one-night stands. It's forever or not at all.

hell yeah thats so true! and ya finely someone els that dose not understand the hole one night stand shit. I like to get to know them a little, than be around them for a long time and keep them nice and close.

also don’t get the hole cheating thing. thats just BS! If you can’t be with one person you should not be with anyone at all! or even try and be with one person. being cheating on sucks! and yet I have never cheated on anyone

Couldn't never understand the point of one night stands and week-long relationships. It's too much drama, and someone always gets hurt. I gotta know em for a good long time, so I can be aware of how they act in all situations, know what they like and enjoy, etc. I don't want to end up with someone that I thought was great but really can't stand, all because I didn't spend long enough getting to know them before I threw my whole heart into it.
Also, you're right. Cheating is for sh*t-heads and idiots. If ya don't love the person enough to stay loyal, then why be with them, ya know?

I think two months is pretty good. I usually end up waiting a bit longer than that, but I think that's because I'm a coward. xD
I figure you don't love someone enough to be with them if you even think about cheating on them, because why would you want to hurt someone like that if you love them, ya know?

    But I said I love you!! :D

I'll agree with that as long as the girl is single, but if she's in a relationship with someone else then no stand up guy is going to say anything.

Like most things, douchebags get old. And once these girls decide to grow up and start looking for somebody with real value, the nice guys begin to shine. Problem here is, they've been so conditioned to being treated a certain way, they will literally hunt for a problem with you. This is why, I believe, many relationships fail despite consisting of couples that have chemistry. I don't know about you guys, but I can't stand a women who is always trying to "fix" me, or looking for faults in my character that need to be amended...as if she can do anything about it anyway.

Best bet is to look for a girl who never got into those DB's in the first place. They don't carry around all that extra baggage like the others do after they "change their minds about guys".

    Just the OP's .02 ;)

^^^Most of them won't figure that out until after they have one or more of the douche bag's kids that he may or may even not be supporting at all. Then they are stuck in the DB loop for the most part because that is all who'll be involved in that kind of drama and interference that some other dude's baggage brings. Yes, I know people will say there are exceptions....

True...I would never want to be a homewrecker. If someone is taken then they're taken. End of story.

the whole hunting for a problem thing.... I do that. Some things are just non-negotiable with me and if there are any signs that the other person doesn't feel the same way as I do then they have to go because I know that I can't change them.

I couple of years ago I dated a guy for a few months during the winter. We got along great. Then summer started to roll around and it was time to dig out the camping gear...turns out he's some sort of agoraphobic, hypochondriac that doesn't like the outdoors, was afraid of bugs, of dirt.... He HAD to go.
