depends. search what people have said about the ride before and after and see if that what you want for your truck

Sure, go for it! They put the TRD Sport shocks on it, so it's a good deal as far as I can see. ;)

I generally don't put much weight in the bed, but I had the TSB done and I am really happy with it. I think the ride is better, and when I do need to haul something heavy I don't have to worry about it. I'd do it if I were you( if you can get it approved, a whole different story!)

Did you have it rust-proofed by chance? I had mine rustproofed in November before the snow (and salt) flied and would patiently wait until just before i get re-treated later in later in the year before even considering it, unless of course you need it for functional purposes.

Logic would suggest the tsb would include the 09's at that point, (if history means anything) making it less of a hassle anyway.

In short, unless you need it for a purpose, relax and enjoy the truck until later.

go for it. had mine done much improved ride. it should ride like a truck not a car. The eassy way to get the tsb done
    1. Find 500 pounds, speed bumps, 30 mph. make sure the frame has a clean looking spot over the rear bumpstop.
    2. email or call toyota to get a case #. ( tell them you have a harsh ride when the truck has a small load in the bed)
    3. print out the pdf file ( search the tw threads)
4 take it to the dealer if they give you slack give them the tsb print out.
    good luck

I have the same truck and it is 3 months old today. My 5 ft. bed has very soft springs that sag at 300 to 400 lbs.

Probably will do the TSB on rear springs in next month.

Any other TSBs that are important on this model ???

Oh, I will reinforce tailgate too ... when I get time

This is my 5th Tundra or Taco since 2000 and sad to have to do all this to a new truck.

    SOS

PS ... I am kinda new here ... how do you find the TSBs ???

Yes, do the TSB! It'll give it a small lift (.75"--1") and it will be made to haul as it should! Even if you don't think you'll haul stuff in it, when you do and it's a load, you'll be glad you had the TSB done. you don't need to get it done right away either, since you're an 09, but you never know when toyota might change the tsb.

If they give you any trouble just bring the print out of the TSB and show it to the dealer.

they should do it then. Good luck!
