LUCKY!!!!! i was going to head up on sunday but decided against driving up and stress out about getting home within 12 hours for the dog to go outside.

I heard the drive up was horrible, people wrecked everywhere so the drive home would have sucked last night

You gotta train that mutt. My pups will hold it for ever lol. But they had to especially when I worked in an emergency room and I was single. My lab would hold it for 18 hours easy.

Ill be staying up there te whole weekend prolly come back late Sunday night like 11pm.

For those of you who saw this in the Moab thread, please disregard.
ANyway, I am looking for good, useful opinions.
Been wanting to lock the rear diff. Have been planning on getting an ARB. However I have looked into a few shops and after calling Scotty at Addicted Offroad, he has me thinking about a Detroit locker.
    Points for the ARB
    -selectable
    -reliable
-gets the compressor in there for OBA
-not as unpredictable on icy roads

    Points for the Detroit
    -WAY cheaper
    -strong
    -reliable
-price allows me to do a rear bumper and still come out at less money spent than just the ARB/compressor/install

dude, i really would i invest in the selectable locker on a dd. especially sine u were throwin the idea around of possibly turning it back to stock??? and ur little one riding in it... selectable is the way to go. who did u get quotes from?

Bullhide 4 x 4 and addicted off-road. The main reason that Scotty at addicted gave me a quote that was so high with the ARB is because he says that if I were to switch tires that I would probably need to re-gear. And the price with pulling out both diffs and re-gearing and locking the rear was way more than I can afford.
Oh and at this point I don't know that I will ever go back to stock. That was a thought before, but with all the stuff that I have done and plan to do I have a feeling it will be easier just to sell it as an off-road ready rig.

yeah i was gonna call u crazy if u were serious about that.... lol id call down to slee and highcountry too. also, u need to figure out if u r gonna go to bigger tires or not. if u regear without tires ur rpms will be high. if you cant get tires at same time, dont install gears or locker.... wait and do it all at once.... ive been wondering, whats ur gear ratio stock? is it the 373?
