OCOTILLO WELLS CAMPING TRIP!!

I'm gonna try and make it, just got back from there last night, but always down for some fun! Now that my RV isnt smogged yet, I would need to figure something out since I now have no sleeping arrangements. Last weekend I met a friend out there and stayed in his 5th wheel, so I dunno if I can figure it out or not yet, but gonna try, heres my load I took for the weekend, probably hauling 6000 lbs or so, lol. I posted this pic in the SD BS thread but for those of you that havent seen it, it is good for a laugh!

That brings up a good reminder to all... Nowhere in the park can you burn ANY KIND of treated wood, i.e; pallets/construction cut offs/manufactered wood, 2x4's 4x4's ,etc; All wood must be natural & no wood gathering within the park also... It's a $250.00 ticket & yes the rangers DO check..

 

I've got 2 bundles of wood left over from my last camping trip, i'll bring those

 

Someone also told me burning pallets is a felony. Not sure if true or not....

Ranger will get a little mad...no felony.

 

I will never burn them again.

 

Oh , he won't be mad at all, in fact he'll have an ear to ear grin whilst writing citation... & its protected land therefore falls under federal enforcement guidelines which will result as a class 1 Felony (least punishable) & the fine is a Federal mandate IIRC & $250.00 is min.

It'd be a misdeanor in County court

Well looks like I'm backing out. Moving and the truck won't be ready. Decided to tear into the rear end this weekend. And I might work on the truck

 

Anyone that's going that's in the LA area think they could stop by Alhambra to pick up some front fiberglass fenders and bring them to the meet?

 

I'm seeing a pattern.....

 

Trigo, I'm heading up to OC the following Monday to hang with my dad for a day or two...I can pick those up for ya if you want? Is it a shop or someone you're buying off of?

So I'm thinking about coming out maybe just for the day on Saturday... I really don't know anyone who's goin but its about time I start meeting some ppl on here! My wife has to work all weekend or else I'd stay the whole weekend.
