Question for you ....you can't use maxtrac spindles with an LT kit? will it throw the geometry off or what?

when i got the total chaos kit i had to buy their spindles because the spacing between the the part where the LCA attaches to the spindle was to large of a gap with the maxtrac, so i would say it wouldnt work. plus the geometry and the angle and what not is made for a set up where the shock is more straight up and down (shorter LCAS) its made for a mid travel set up or a stock set up, not a long travel set up

Ahhhhhh ok, good to know. So I'll have a solid MT setup, but will have to replace EVERYTHING when I go LT :)

no thats the only downside, the factory mounts are set to far back for how the bar was designed. you have to drill holes through the rain gutters, theres a few different ways to do it so there will be no dirt or water coming though, but pretty easy to do

or you could mount it this way:
    vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv

drill four 17/32" holes near the front, in your rain channels

    Buy a pack of these:

    http://www.mcmaster.com/#standard-rivet-nuts/=hda8pu

And use a rivet tool to mushroom them into the holes you drilled.

They are self-sealing rivet nuts so they will keep dirt and moisture out.

Then you place the rack on top and tighten four stainless steel 3/8"-16 screws down
