The Ivy Bridge don't have much trouble reaching 5 gigs! and that is a usable 5 gigs if you can keep them cool enough. Sandy Bridge could do better but not always, some of them just wouldn't break like 4.5 gigs no matter what you did.

Will be interesting to see how the next gen performs:D

I will be very interested in clearances. Particularly, between where the new pulley and the alt body end up in relation to the battery area. No doubt stock batt setup will be fine but what about with a CO dual batt tray with the radiator overflow bottle relocated.

Really? Be careful with them spindles Man!

Dude! Check out our BS thread! I'm in Pocatello. We crawl in a place in Shelley and a place in American Falls once a month or so. Not sure what there is closer to you though.

you have the expo leaf pack Monte?
as much as i want a bumper, the bed rack and cvt will be more useful to me. but my AAL really didn't do much besides bring it to stock height i think.

I don't. I have a 96 the expo packs won't fit. I'm running wheelers 5 packs wheeler AAL and a leaf outa a skyjacker pack.

I'm pretty sure that yes an AAL won't hold the cvt great with stock leafs. So I'd plan n upgrading those sometime this summer too. I wouldn't let ya hold back from the GB tho

Ya the money saved on the CVT in this GB is way better than the bumper, and like I said the cvt offers more benefits to me than the bumper will.

What bumper are you looking at??

And yea I'd say go for the tent then redo the rear suspension. Unless your planning on wheeling hard the rear bumper can wait.

I was eyeing bruteforce front bumper.

I'll pretty much have to redo my entire rear end.

Oh the hybrid GB?? I thought you had an elite on order??

Get the cvt. then redo the rear. And enjoy it! Go camping all the time and in style. Then start armor ing it up if you plan on rough trails.

Exactly my thoughts, I was pretty set on doing the bumper until today when I said to myself, how is the bumper going to benefit me more than the CVT and a new rear.

I had one planned to order, but I didn't have all the funds togethor by the time Tim and I finished communicating, because I was paying large sums against my truck. (Paid off as of the 21st).

    It fits!

For those that don't know. I won this diff skid from BAMF at the Moab meet. Was a nice prize after rolling the truck  but it was tweaked a bit. Jerry told me to beat the hell outa it with a hammer and it would be fine. I ended up cutting it a bit to help it bend. Now it fits! Just have to reweld the posts and paint it.
