sweet. i found my tire size now i guess lol. still want the 285s, but the 265/75R16 is lighter, cheaper, wont throw my speedo off as much, and still bigger than what i got. plus i may not even have to trim. i may or may not just for flex on trails

The 265's look great to me especially because the tires I replaced were 30x9.50 R15's lol. Went wheelin in the rocks last weekend and never once had a problem rubbing when flexing.

no spacers right? and now i just have to figure out which ones i want. i kinda want to look into the goodyear wrangler authority. i know its a walmart exclusive, but i doubt goodyear would put their name on a tire they are ashamed of, plus ive heard many good reviews on them.

Nope no spacers at all. Im actually running the Wrangler Authorities lol! Im lovin these tires so far. They are smooth on road and had great traction on the rocky trails I hit last weekend.

hah no kidding. im hoping i can get a buddy of mine to get me a good deal on them. honestly if i dont get a discount, ill most likely be going through bridgestone and getting the dueler a/t revo 2. my uncle has been with firestone/bridgestone for years and can get some good discounts, even on top of current sales. my dad got a set of 4 of the same tires brand new, installed, road hazard, lifetime balancing, alignment, and rotations for $330 on black friday lol

hey what is the speed and load rating on your tires? They have two up on walmart.com, however they dont sell the more expensive one anymore it seems. it says its not available even online. but im a little concerned because the cheaper ones say the speed rating is C (which is like 37mph). also how long have u had them?

Drove around in the snow for about 3 hours. Got stuck three times... Twice down a state park road, then once trying to get into a parking spot... Haha But I was able to maneuver out of all of them by myself eventually.
I'm amazed by how much of a difference a locker makes! I was able to do a lot more on stock tires than I expected!

Reason I got stuck the second time was because another truck was coming towards me and I tried to get out of the way. But I slid off into the ditch... So he was going to drive to a spot where he could turn around to pull me out. While he was doing that I wanted to see if I could get it out myself. Sure enough with 4lo/locked I was able to get enough momentum and drove in the ditch for about 30 yards until it leveled out and I could get back on the pavement haha Then after he got turned around he was going around a tree and slid off the road, which happened to be right next to a drop-off into trees... So I drove to him and he dug his tires out with a shovel and I tried pulling him out. After coming within inches of slamming his bed into a tree multiple times I was able to yank him out. So I can gladly say that I pulled out a full size chevy that was stuck in the snow, when all along I was the one stuck in the first place! :)

    Anyways, here's pics...

Here was the from the first time I got stuck... This is on a paved road just to give you an idea of how deep the snow is...

Got bored so I drove around base pulling people out. Got 4 vehicles out as of now. Everybody else either doesn't want help or are waiting for the snow to melt before they bother driving their car.

Question, why does it seem that all new cars nowadays have no tow points!?
