I just bought a 2013 DCSB TRD Off Road w/ Towing, and mats. It was $32,875 on the sticker. You can expect them to knock down the price on a new one about $1k. The TRD Sport on the lot at the same time was a couple hundred buck less. That means you can own a brand new one for about the same price.

Since you are most of the way through the tires and warranty, they need to come down quite a bit. I would get the new one.

Only $2,000 less for a manual access cab compared to a crew cab auto? Sounds like you didn't get a good price either.

When I bought my 2012 TRD sport in April 2012 it was $31,000. It had every option available including entune, etc. I would definitely recommend getting a 2013, it would be around that price.

Pretty much what everyone else said.

I just signed the papers for a 2013 4x4 DCSB w/ TRD sport, tow packages.

29,375 before tax (1000 below invoice)

You can also get better loan rates on new cars. Right now SE Toyota has a special incentive going for the Tacoma... I am doing 0 APR for 36 months. Your region may have something similar going on for new Tacomas.

So with all that said fellas , what would you think Would be a fair price for this Truck ? Or do Tacomas hold their value so well that the dealer wouldn't
    come down that much ?

I think with that kind of mileage and the price you could get a 2013 with the same options, I would offer $27,000. It may seem low, but you can get a low APR on a new one plus any incentives going on. That truck only has 11,000 miles left on the bumper to bumper warranty.

Is it going to be a certified toyota? If so you will get a 12mo/12k bumper to bumper and a 7 year/100K (From first sale of car to original owner) warranty...

Remember it NEVER hurts to low ball a dealer...the worst that happens is you don't overpay for a car...

Also be sure you work all fees etc into the negotiated price...so they don't come over the top with $500 in dealer fees...

The only reason you would not want a new truck would be insurance and tax costs would be less on a used truck...

    Soon! 1 month!
Seems a little pricy, I feel like you could get a better price if you search some more. Look at the Costco Deal and do some research on Tru Car. My truck is only SR5 but the sticker was like 28k and I haggled them down to 26k. By the way God Bless the 343! Never Forgotten.. Even all the way out here in Cali!

Price out what a new 2013 would cost, including incentives and specials. Use that number to talk down these guys on the 2012. Show them all your options from your point of view and how they are gonna need to lower the price on that one a good bit for you to see a good value in it.
