Having an actual company to talk to is definitely reassuring if something happens and it takes some nice footage! When I get some extra money I'm going to be getting one I think! It might be a little while though... Took a decent hit in my saved up money for those sliders.

 

Dave, are you doing that work or do you have a specific guy that does it? How far from stock are those numbers and what/where are the gains?

 

It will all be done in house, the number are not far off at all but the power on the 3RZ from what I have noticed is higher up in the curve, there is no low to mid range tq which is half the reason I go on the limiter. I will have a better understanding when I can pull the head and flow it on the SF1020. Along with hardened keepers, copper or if i can source beryllium seats, with OEM seals. The goal in the end is under $300 and Mid-Range gains with smooth idle and Tq.
to top in off I will be mostlikey polishing the head and having the valve cover polished

 

Might want to look into porting to get better flow too?

 

I said in the first post I will be PP and CC the head to get my baselines on where to start. This is my living I do this daily
