I thought the teachers had to give you grievance days too like work... basically an excused absence with out being able to drop you... you should ask... I missed a few funerals in my family cuz of school and those are the ones i remember most

its the first week of school and my professor yesterday straight up told us "miss 1 day in the next 2 weeks and you will be dropped, no exceptions" i was like wtf...thursday its an electronics class and im cool with that professor so i know for a fact i can miss his class but the monday class will be a bitch

fuck yes...ive had my share, but thank the lord previous professors tell us who not to take now a days

Nope. Last semester I had my surgery the day class started. I emailed my professors weeks in advance but they all told me even though its a legit medical absence I'll still be dropped. I was under anesthesia all day no way I could go. So I missed all but 1 class. Teachers dont care

 

Where do you guys go to school? When I went to cal state san berdoo most of my teachers thought it was more hassle than its worth to drop a student even if they never showed up to class haha
