I'm waiting to mount my new seats... I have the seats but waiting for the brackets to come in. I was going to go the wet okole's... but I decided if I'm going to pay that much, I might as well get decent seats. The stocks one are simply not good imo... my lower back starts aching after 30 minutes of driving. I know they are terrible because I can drive for hours in my Wife's Kia SUV and they feel great... and my Tacoma drive's nicer than her's on the road. If I'm gonna keep my Taco (which I've decided on doing) good seats are a worthwhile upgrade I think... kinda like a comfortable set of shoes (that don't make your feet hurt).

I put Subaru Forester XT seats in my Tacoma and the difference is night and day from the stock buckets.

In due time I'm going to pay an interior restorer to take out the foam in the driver's side seat and replace it with high end memory foam (like) material. Because my ass and back deserve it

I don't know I like the seats in the Tacoma, Although I am only 5' 4".... When I drove my Chevy 500 miles my lower back ached, but when I drove the same 500 miles in my Tacoma it was all good. Seems like my body size fits perfect into the truck.

I plan on replacing my seats instead of buying covers.
Think of the time you spend in your seat, to me its just like my bed.

Ya it can be expensive to buy, but you spend a lot of time in it, might as well be comfortable!

These bad boys are going in as soon as the brackets comes in... any day now. They are soooo much better than the stock seats. :D

This video are my exacts seats... only with a bronze insert in video... I have all black. It's really easy to do. Like he says in video, I did have to also buy hex bolts at home depot to mount seats on brackets ($15). The only issue is that the mounting brackets are custom made and take awhile to receive. I've been waiting 3 weeks but expect them any time now.

Seats and brackets were $615 total shipped (after $40 instant rebate from jm auto racing and $75 cipher auto rebate). It's an investment for sure, but one my back will be thanking me for.

I can't speak for that brand... but anything is better than stock imo.

I almost went with Corbeau Baja XRS... good name and relatively good value for what you get. I went up to our local 4 Wheel Parts store and sat in those, and they just seamed a little too stiff for me. Funny you linked Andy's Auto Sports... it was actually their videos that sold me on Cipher Auto. They are big on Cipher and recommend them several times in their youtube videos. Plus they are cheaper than Corbeau. So I took a chance and so far very happy I did. The only, and I mean only negative, that I've found is that the plastic piece that covers the reclining latch is noticeably cheaper than the rest of the seat. Otherwise, stitching, comfort, support, material, etc. all seem outstanding to me.

I paid $125 for mine and sold my hacked up stock seats for $75 or $85 (can't remember). So I essentially paid $50 or $40 for my Subby seats and 2 or 3 days of feeding Jon to install them.

I'm still waiting on a wiring harness for the heating elements and adjustment. Then I'll probably be shooting you a PM
