    Yeah I tired that before notch too lol. Bike would be okay once sitting still, but when I started driving over bumps and turning, I would bottom out lol.

    Notch is the only solution > : )

    They never brought mine up. Had it on a lift and everything. Only trouble I had with a notch was passing inspection at the dealership. Took it somewhere else and they passed me lol

    Is notching illegal where ur from too? We have a recon inspection that you have to pass when you modify anything and they will not pass you with a notch. they told me u have a big paperweight if u cut the frame in anyway. pretty dumb. But i already did the inspection i figure if i notch it doesnt matter now i have the sticker. Only problem i can see is when i sell the truck in the future ;(

    I'm not too sure. Only place that gave me a problem was the Toyota dealership. At one point I was going to trade my truck in for a 350z at a Ford dealership, and they never used the notch against me. Although they said it was too modded and only offered me $5K cause they had to put it back to stock lol

    Oh yah I actually bought my front kit from him and I just emailed him earlier today about the notches he said no can do but ill check xru and eBay I'm sure there's somthing.

    my previous truck i drove to recon with air shocks to make a gap between the axle and the frame
    2 weeks later after i passed i notched it.. Safety inspection didn't even notice they only gonna look make sure your tire size is all g

    ah i think i pulled this up last night. I usually send the seller messages and see if theyll negotiate, Tony will ship for 295 ;(

    yup thats what im gonna do too, i assumed the safety guys wouldnt even care. but i met a guy who notched his and got the recon like that, he said they didnt even look underneath!

    Ill look into that, id rather bolt in, cuz i dont know how to weld lol!

    Anybody ever pulled the fenders on a 2nd gen? The wheels I want and 20x10.5 +22 offset. In the rear and I dono if they will fit without pulling the fenders further out.

    Yeah idk plenty guys say can pass with a notch plenty say no can o well
    in the end notch makes a huge difference rode like a caddy even with a loaded bed jus gotta make sure tires not gonna rub that can a bitch too!

    Not sure if this question was asked before or not but I wanted to know and see how deep the DJM notch is

    My plan is to run 4" blocks and 4x4leafs and wanted to know if the djm notch is deep enough for the drop without sitting on the bumpsstops
    If not is there any place that sells a bolt in notch that's deeper

    Why not run less block height, and extended length shackles? I feel that would be the structurally safer route. Defined Engineering sells the shackles.

    I found some work 3 piece wheels I'm gonna get. The bedsides have already been cut. I gave up trying to roll them are the 4wd fenders and bedsides any wider than the xrunner and base model's? I know the flares are different but I was wanting something like a wide body basically.
