This morning pulling out of the new work parking lot I ran the RR corner into a bollard, pretty much my fault, but the parking lot is tight and the bollard was bed height. RR tail light is toast. fender is all rubbed. and tail gate has some damage. take it to the dealer? I've never done this to a car before... non less my new taco. Dam it!!!

Metal post in a parking lot. Tail gate has minimal damage. just a corner. I'll take pics later.... FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Perfect timing. Anytime I get some extra cash something stupid happens. I guess I should just stop doing extra side work at night and busting my arse in life.

I personally have had horrible luck with body shops at the dealer. Check with your insurance company and see who they would recommend.

F'n dealer wants $281 for the tail light!! LMFAO.

Pretty ticked off with how flimsy this truck is. The bumper bent like a gummy worm, no structural steel inside of it. of the bumper was stiff, and strong... I'd be scuffing a bumper out. I miss my early 90's 4runner... running over all sorts of stuff, barely scuff the paint on the home grown bumpers. Oh well. I'm gonna clean the damage up the best I can and have 3 shops give me a estimate. 1 dealer, 2 indipendent. I want perfection, not price.

You could invest in an ARB bumper and get the protection you want...

Yea i hate when people damage your stuff and don't even care. Sometimes I wish I had an older taco that was all beat up from off-roading and such. I've seen people hit my door while I'm sitting in the truck, the urge to just slam my door repeatedly and gouge the hell out of theirs is almost uncontrollable sometimes.

I'm telling your man!!! People are just so ignorant and stupid these days!! Just like John Travolta said in "Pulp Fiction," " It would have been worth seeing the guy do it just to catch him in the act and pound the sh-- out of him!!!"
