Don't limit straps limit down travel? How would that help him if he is rubbing the cab?

You cant limit strap up travel on the driveshaft

People will limit strap under their driveshaft in most cases. Have you not seen this before?
(thats what i think Mr.Hudson is talking about)

    EDIT:

    Like so

    A driveshaft loop?

Edit: driveshaft loop has nothing to do with travel. It's just a safety measure.

It's called a drive shaft loop, have to have it to race. It's just so if you have a failure at the front of the shaft or tranny the drive shaft doesn't pole-vault your truck

Thanks. I was just about to ask what good that does. I would think using a strap like that to limit down travel (rather than using straps to limit the axle housing itself) would just damage the driveshaft or third member...

striking it directly off the axle would probably cause it to roll off the axle and start to tear. i would think.

Started going through the land cruiser. Realized that the seats had seat covers on them, pulled them off brand new seats underneath! Man this thing is clean, it will be a shame when I cut it up. Had an oil leak... The dipstick was missing! Easy fix, now it doesn't leak a drop from anywhere. Also changed the oil, damn thing holds 9 quarts.

Check out how clean this is

    ...too much shit to list.
    Call them?

You can bump right off the axle. I used to when I had rubber bumps.
But instead of loosing uptravel, why don't you just clearance where the driveshaft rubs?
