The only problem is that if I was able to get into officer school I'd probably want to go to flight school.

You may as well use your degree you have. They are always looking for computer specialists

Should be worth doing what you need to do. Wifey's 4Runner is pushing 300,000 miles and going strong. If it were me though, I'd consider the V6 before the 8. I had a rental V8 4Runner once and it went through gas like no tomorrow.

    Good morning Dave.

I have heard mixed things on the V8. Some say it is a real pig, others that it is only marginally worse than the V6. The V8 runs on regular fuel, but needs a timing belt at 90k. The V6 really should run on 91 but has a timing chain. I have yet to drive the V6.

Gonna wash the Jeep and see about selling it myself. It runs just fine, I am in no rush to move it along.

Hmm, the XTerra Pro4x sure is nice.

xTerra looks real nice to me too., though I've never driven one. To be fair, I hadn't driven a V8 in a while and couldn't help myself from stepping on it every chance I got.:D Wife's 4Runner gets around the same mileage as my Tacoma, between 18 and 22.

Also John, sorry about Katy, she must be pretty shaken up. Hope everything works out. Pretty sure she won't forget about this for a long time and use it as a learning experience. Headed out to Waffle House, we don't have them in the northeast, kind of an old tradition when we travel in the south.
Yesterday was sports day, went to see the Twins vs Phillies in the afternoon and then took in a hockey game in the evening. Florida Everblades. Pretty good day.

One of my sisters had a V6 4th gen 4Runner and just got rid of it for a minivan (lulz). Orig. owners with close to 100k, and no problems.

My other sister has an 05 Xterra and she's gone through 4 OEM batteries. Other than that, it's been pretty straight forward with general maintenance.

My dad has a 2006 4runner with the v6. No premium required. It is the same engine in the 2ND gen Tacoma. The newer ones might require premium though.

Morning Adam. Choking the house contractor or an IT derp at work?

Of course, I am assuming you are the Homer. But then that presents another dynamic.

Gotcha. Most of the PMs I work with do not deserve the M.

 Have you told her that?

I'm having a good day...just got confirmation that a project I have been working on for over 7 months will be wrapping up today! :yay: Most projects are done in under 2 months so this one is long overdue.
