I have sandwich envy. Had a "Toasty Torpedo" from Quizno's today for the first time...let's just say it leaves a lot to be desired. So much so, that I was too embarrassed to send in a pic.

All the Quizno's around here shut down. Subway put them out of business when they introduced their speedy toaster a few years ago. That thing is amazing - it toasts a whole sub in like 10 seconds!

And with Subway's on-going $5 footlong promotion...they are ruling the sub world! You can't even get a #1 at Wendy's for under $5.

I like Quiznos. I think they have some good sandwiches. But, they are really stuck up about them and only want to make them how they are "supposed to", not how you want them. And the employees have always been kinda rude. -ish.

Or at least the ones I've been too...

Me too! They had a pretty cool pregame show w/ fire, and I was suprised that nothing went up in flames. Now that would have been really cool.

Took this pic of a Lambo at a Applebees in Erie, PA. An 80 year old couple from Florida owned it.

Interesting! I managed an Applebee's in West Mifflin (south of Pittsburgh) for 2 years. We had a regular customer who drove the same Lambo. His family owned Maxim Crane in Pittsburgh and he was at the bar 3-4 times a week.

The Erie Applebee's was part of our franchise. The franchise was owned by 2 former Steelers (Larry Brown and J.T. Thomas). It was cool because I got to know them on a first name basis. When the franchise was started, it was also owned by Rod Woodson and Louis Lipps and was called B.T. Woodlipp. They sold the franchise to Applebee's international in 2004. I quit and the most of the remaining management was fired for corruption. It was ugly!
