Yes! Don't wanna spend too much $$ if I have to buy tools so I'm hoping a rotary tool/dremel from Harbor Freight is worthy enough to complete the job

That's what I used. Traced the hole, (my deck plate looked exactly like yours), drilled a pilot hole, then dremeled away. Secured with self tapping/self drilling screws.

Airlift rear air bags. Hood struts. sockmonkey bedside decal. TRD supercharger(not installed). Deckplate. Grey wire mod. Extended rear diff breather. 6000k HIDS. 18"Magnaflow. Truxxx 3" level kit. (Temporary) Wet Okole seat covers. BoxRocket bed rack. Bora 0.75 wheel spacers All pro sliders. BAMF BPV. B&M trans cooler.
If you want to be cheap you could cut by hand. Drill a hole so you have some where to start. Something with med-fine teeth would work. A jig saw would probably do the trick as well if you have one.

Now to get my hands on a drill... sad life I live as a college student away from HOME :( haha

I'm sure I can figure it out and find a way. Hopefully sometime soon.

sounds about right, just with the deck plate if its not done perfect and you go snorkling theres always a chance that you could suck water very easily. so if you do it id run a test of some kind by either filling it with water ad seeing if any leaks out or filling a large tub of water and submerging it to see if any water leaks through. remove the airbox from the truck of corse.

but for you question im pretty sure the answer is yes

sounds good. i mean from my understanding the deck plates are meant to be water tight as long as you use some sort of sealant. they are used for marine kinda stuff right? i just want to get rid of my CAI because im scared that on trails itll go underwater and that damn thing will suck in water. but on the road i want something to give me the same results as my CAI (the noise and negligable performance gain)

It regulates your rear braking pressure dependent on load. With a 3" lift, and improper angle, you likely have no rear brakes.

If you don't want to get a new latch, you can just use strong magnets to keep it closed.

Frozen locks - take a lighter and heat up your key and then try to use your key. Works most of the time!

Heat up key away from gas door lock (like in the gas store kiosk). Obviously don't do near the truck! Sorry, I guess I should have clarified that.

Pfffffttttt. That's nothing. Hot key isn't going to do shit.
Try welding a spring hanger on the inside of the frame less than 2 inches from the tank. Some serious pucker factor on that weld for sure!

WD40 your locks and water won't build up inside them. This is the only thing I ever use WD40 for since it's not a high quality lubricant.
