Nice. With the short depth of the grill, you didn't have to fiberglass patch the inner rib to make it deeper. It still looks good and I'm not sure which way I'll go...

Home Depot. I used a mixture of Gorilla Glue and tabs. I wished I had made a write up for it but I was half way through it when I thought about it. It was a kinda spur of the moment mod. It was raining and it was something that could keep me busy.

I was just thinking of what one of these grills would like on my truck last night cause I think they look swaeet on the 2nd gens. Now that I've seen it done and for how cheap it was I might have to do it to mine now. Yours looks awesome nice job:thumbsup:

DANG that looks awesome. I wanted to do a satoshi-ish grille for mine but i've never seen anyone do one to see how it looks, and that looks good. I may have to do that this summer

Think I should center the lights within the grill?

it doesnt really look like a "satoshi" tho.. it looks great. but it looks like you just took all of the black plastic off of the chrome parts. its not recessed, that why im asking. i was actually trying to make my own grill today and stopped cuz i didnt have any fierglass, but when i was puting it back on i saw that the black is like tabbed onto the chrome peice on teh back and i could prolly take it off and glue/tab the mesh on like youdid.

am i right? haha i just dont know if it need the support of the tabs that go back to the radiator support. it looks liek you just took all that off.

Something to really help the look, paint the radiator and background of the grill black too. Makes that stand out less and the grill stand out more.
