Cats only let us think they are domesticated... mostly they would kill us in our sleep if it wasn't for them not knowing how to open a can of food on their own.

damnit! Now I have to go out of my way and get CFA on my way home.... thanks!

I think hes referring to killing the cat. Would you eat a cat if you shot it?

Well.. when I spend my days on my hands and knees planting and raising food to feed myself, I don't take kindly to little voles destroying all that work. If their numbers get out of hand they can quickly ruin an entire field.

I'd throw it in my compost pile and it'd end up in something I ate.

When I got my license, my dad told me that if I ever intentionally hit an animal with my truck, I would have to put it down, take it home, clean it, cook it, and eat it.

Come up to vt, find a Fisher cat. Make friends with it, then let it live in your yard.
    Stray cat problem solved.

Well thats good. Im not against hunting or anything. I think its more humane than mass producing poultry or beef like they do. I just dont think its right to kill an animal if its going to go to waste. Like killing this cat, because i doubt many of the people here wanting to kill the cat would plan on eating it or putting it to any use.

In my first post I stated I wouldn't put out anti-freeze for an animal to drink.

I hope all the folks that are saying killing animals is wrong are vegans or you might sound a little hypocritical.

As for me, I love killing animals aka fishing.

I wish all the people with reading comprehension problems would realize nobody cares if you kill an animal, we are talking about cruelty

    back to bone stock.
i made a mistake and took out my lawn, and planted low water plants. i covered the ground with chipped cedar. the cats look at my yard like a huge litterbox fun land. what can i do? nothing. i rake and pick up cat shit all the time.

i take Traveler's approach. cat shit is a small problem, compared to other potential messes..whatever.

i wont kill them. i focus my killing energy on my ground squirrels. hehe.
