Lol, I try to convert them. But they resist.

"Annaaa I need a new car, will you help me buy one? Since you know about cars and stuff?"

    "Ok, how about a tacoma?"

    "No. I want a car"

"but tacomas are so fun. And you can drive over things like curbs. and off road."

    "No. Car"

"Fine. Be lame... where do you want to look.... this just got a lot less fun"

I do have one friend with a truck that she works on some. But it's not a taco. haha.

    The rest are hopeless ;)

Well that figures lol as long as they could put up with a taco obsession then it'd still be acceptable. Plus if you date someone with a car that gets good gas mileage then I could go SAS and 35's and just use the car for road trips :D

Don't bother, with this warm weather, it'll be dirty again by the time you hit home, haha.

There's some laser car washes scattered about, one off of Lake Otis near Abbot, another on Old Seward south of O'Malley. Stay away from the one downtown, a fellow member's had their paint screwed up by it.

I hate the auto washes. I usually find a "magic wand" wash and use the pressure washer there when the temp is about 25 degrees and doesn't look like it will be above freezing in the immediate future. I use the brush after pressure washing the shit out of it. If I was super OCD I would bring my own wash mitt but oh well....

there are a bunch in south anchorage. not sure about other parts of town

I went to the one on Minnesota by the Spenard intersection today. Finally got my rear quarter window parts installed yesterday so gave it its first bath since I've owned it. Then went to the gym on base and back home and it has mud on it already lol

I saw a dude riding a street bike today with some beefy offroad tires on it. It looked badass and he didn't seem to have a problem riding around
