I also wanted leather and I bought my truck used. If you buy from a dealer, you can negotiate it in and they'll just have it installed. I've done this with another car (not my Tacoma)

I was planning on doing same thing with Tacoma...found one in my price range and started the discussion, but then found an almost identical Tacoma at Texas Direct Auto for about $1500 cheaper. They do not do leather installation so I took out about $1100 from what I was going to put down as a down payment, bought from them, and took it to an interior shop and had leather installed for about $1050, so still came out a little better than buying from dealer.

With these leather seats installed at the dealer, are these the real leather or fake leather? I negotiated with the dealer and got them but i dont want to get worked over if they offer real leather and i get the fake shit

The dealers typically are not doing the work. They are outsourcing to interior specialists and I think you'd be ok...if they are advertising it as leather, it should be.

Here is my two tone. My 42,000miles and 280lbs have not been kind to the padding, the leather is still in good shape though.

The shop that did my interior ordered them from somewhere in California. I'm sure if you went to the Pecca website it would tell you where you could buy them.

I went to Pecca USA but didn't find any info on dealers. I was interested in looking at their product specific to the Tacoma and some pricing but not much there.

I have factory leather in my 2010 .
Not sure wether its real or not but if I had to guess , I would say real leather.
Easy to clean but cold on the @ss if I forget to leave the heated seat on at night .

UPDATE: I just talked to the Toyota dealership in Roseville CA and I opted to get the Ice Grey leather from Katskin. I was torn between getting all leather or having the body (middle of the seats) perforated (tiny holes for ventilation) which looks good but i dont want to risk getting dirt and crap in the holes. They also gave me the option to choose what color stiching i wanted I ordered same color as the leather but I'm start to wonder if going with red stitching to match my exterior and to give it an aftermarket look.......opinions anyone?

Red stitching would look sweet . My seats are all grey leather and need a little extra .The red stitching or a TRD logo embroidered into the top of the seat would really help .
I use TRD shoulder protectors and TRD neck pillows to spruce up the look of the interior . The TRD neck pillows also work very well
For the cold butt , I use the command start in the morning and running the truck for about 10 minutes gives the seat heaters enough time to take the chill outta the leather :D
