    Filled my truck up with gas today. With Winter mix, driving one mile each way every day because I have a sprained ankle (on crutches), I got 13mpg. :eek:

    That's the worst I've ever gotten. Last time the truck was in for service they cleaned the throttle body and the Fuel Sensor, but the CEL didn't go away...Might have to bring it back in...

    I'm not getting much better than that, and I'm driving a little less than a mile a day. With the cold, you're not going to get good gas mileage only driving a mile.

    If you wait and let it warm up you'll get better gas mileage while driving, but you end up wasting gas letting it idle until it's warmed up. So either way you'll get bad mileage until they get rid of winter blend, and it warms up.

    Make sure you guys take it out on the interstate for a few miles every once in a while to blow it out and get rid of all the condensation in the oil.

    the short trips that don't let the motor get warm and sit on a set rpm KILL mpgs.

    It hasn't been terribly cold here, 30s and 40s, but I have 8am classes so it's probably upper 20s then? Used to walk or bike, now I'm stuck driving and getting the truck dirty


    I never let it warm up really...I think by the time I'm to my destination the heat just gets warm. :eek:

    The past 3 weekends I've driven it on the interstate (In the mountains towing a boat and gear for camping for 3-5 people in the back of the truck) and get around 15 then. Can't this weekend because I have 3 exams next week.

    Back home in the summer where it's flat, I got around 19-20mpg.

    Oh I got terrible gas mileage Tuesday. I drove 40 miles and used nearly a half tank of gas! :eek:

    Driving around in 4hi all day and in 4lo with locker when pulling people out and when I got stuck twice definitely ate through my gas!

    Same here.... Gas was cheap back in the beginning of January! Now it's about $3.67 per gallon here...
