    Had even better when I lived in SC. Crazy the difference in MPGs when you're 3,200 ft above of your home town. :p

    Ha, yesterday after filling up, my Scanguage was showing 23 before I got to town. The darn thing has got to be pulling my leg, cause I know there's no way possible.


    And I was wondering, Is it more fuel efficient to get up to speed quickly (Like let her hit around 2700 rpm before shifts), or creep up there. Because yesterday my scangauge told me that my current was better after quickly accelerating than creepin.

    I usually just drive up to 1800-2000 rpm to get the best mileage. I think your scangauge was acting screwy... Haha

    its a debate. If you go slow you spend more time at a lower mpg as opposed to a short time at a even lower mpg.

    I think going quickly up to a cruising speed is better. Thats why when you hit resume on CC on modern cars, they floor it.

    But for around town. Shifting at 2 grand usually is best.

    man if i was only getting 11mpg id be driving my k1500 ECSB its so much more comfy than the tacoma...thats what i get around town in it and about 15-16 on the road

    Replaced fuel filter, cleaned and re-oiled K&N filter, cleaned MAF sensor, topped off all fluids, filled gas tank and added a bottle of injector cleaner additive, and warshed the windows. :) Felt good....

    That's pretty close. It will depend on whether you install the locker yourself or if someone else does it. And it also depends on what you plan to do with the air setup. If the only thing you want the air for is lockers then you can go fairly cheap on the compressor but if you want to air up tires or run air tools then the price will go up some because you will need to add a tank for more volume or go with co2.
